SEA TOSSA
Imagine a place where you can travel back in time to scenes from bygone eras...
Tossa is a true open-air museum, where prehistoric remains give way to a Roman Turissa, a medieval Turssa and a modern Tossa, first converted into a refuge for artists and intellectuals and then into a generous host for tourists and visitors.
This heritage legacy is the faithful testimony of all those people who, loving it, made this land their home, and from now on, yours too.

The Santa Marta Restaurant is located within the walled enclosure , declared a national historical and artistic monument in 1931, the Vila Vella is the emblem of the municipality. It is currently the only example of a fortified medieval town that still exists on the Catalan coast. Built at the beginning of the 13th century with crenellated walls, it preserves almost the entire original perimeter area.
The wall block has four turrets and three cylindrical towers topped by battlements. The best-known towers are the Joanàs Tower, which overlooks the bay; the Hores Tower, located at the entrance to the parade ground, which owes its name to the fact that it was the only place where there was a public clock, and the Codolar Tower, also known as the Homenatge Tower, which overlooks the Codolar beach. The magnificent voussoir portal that gives access to the Old Town through the parade ground is worth noting.
